Prince.Hall.of.Fame.jpg

The 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony held in The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, March 15, inducted favorites, Prince, the rock and roll soul of Bob Seger, Jackson Browne, George Harrison, among other artists.

In February, Prince kicked off the 2004 Grammy Awards with a medley with Beyonce.

On March 23rd, Prince and Sony Corporation's Columbia Records unit announced that they have signed a worldwide deal. After several years as an independent artist, Prince will rely on Columbia to release his upcoming album, 'Musicology.' Tomorrow, March 27 Prince begins his first tour in six years in Reno, Nevada.

Regal Entertainment Theaters across the United States will air live via satellite his March 29th concert in Los Angeles. On the 29th, Prince and Columbia will release Musicology's title track as the first single shipped to radio.

Prince's tour coincides with the release of his 'Musicology' album in the United States on April 20.

"I am really an artist and a musician at heart, that's what I do," Prince said. "Musicology has no boundaries or formats. It is long overdue to return to the art and craft of music -- that's what this album is about. School's in session."
