A Rugged Elegance Inspiration Network Exclusive

The 76th Annual Academy Awards have been presented!

One billion of us were watching.

While we watched, Rugged Elegance creators, Jennifer King and Timothy Fredel voted for the Best Dressed, Most "Rugged Elegant" Celebrities on the red carpet and on stage. Who not only looked "fabulous," as Billy Crystal would say, who evoked that "healthy, adventuresome, soulful spirit" we were looking for?

Charlize Theron, this year's winner as Best Lead Actress for her role in Monster. Tonight, a 1920's glamour girl who wore a sequined Tom Ford gown for Gucci, a handbag by South African Lana Marks and a beautiful bronzed skin tone.

Will Ferrell's wife with child, Vivica Paulin wore a midnight blue gown and gorgeous jewelry

Oprah Winfrey, wore Gianfranco Ferre and a generous smile when Billy Crystal claimed that she was thinking "You don't want to talk about rich, girlfriend" relative to Julia Roberts, that is.

Jamie Lee Curtis, who should have been nominated for her role in Freaky Friday and her husband, Christopher Guest

Naomi Watts, nominated for Best Actress in 21 Grams and Heath Ledger

On the night we were looking for the most "rugged elegant" attire, Stuart Weitzman's diamond-adorned shoes deserve special recognition. These "solefully" designed shoes worn by country star, Alison Krauss are highlighted with Kwiat Diamonds and valued at $2 million. Alison's toes and performance sparkled when she sang the Oscar-nominated songs Scarlet Tide and You Will Be My Ain True Love from the movie Cold Mountain. We hope that Alison made it home before the clock struck midnight ...
