Perhaps Tiger Woods should take a few weeks off the PGA Tour to travel with the Stanford men's basketball team. It seems that Tiger brings great luck to Stanford when The Cardinal plays against tough competition.

You'll note Tiger on hand -- lower right-hand corner wearing jeans and black sweatshirt -- tonight celebrating Nick Robinson's three-point buzzer beater that propelled Stanford to an 80-77 victory over Arizona.
This photograph jogged my memory of a game I attended on December 21, 2000 in which Stanford beat then No. 1 Duke, 84-83, on Casey Jacobsen's fall-away 13-footer with 3. 6 seconds left in the contest.

Once again, you see Tiger in his jeans and black sweatshirt cheering on his beloved Cardinal. The big change for Tiger in the last four years? His new sidekick and fiancee, the beautiful Elin Nordegren.
