On Thursday, November 6, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Discovery Communications' Travel Channel and the Africa Society of the National Summit on Africa will host the groundbreaking, exclusive world premiere of UGANDA: THE PRESIDENTIAL TOUR at Discovery Headquarters in Silver Spring.
In attendance will be President Yoweri Kaguata Museveni, the personal guide of this thrilling adventure and noted journalist, and Forrest Sawyer, who interviewed and accompanied him during the tour. The tour provides the audience with pictures of a revitalized country, rich in cultural heritage, populated by an amazing assortment of wildlife, globally acclaimed flora and an abundance of natural environmental wonders.
Other premieres of UGANDA: THE PRESIDENTIAL TOUR will be held concurrently in San Francisco, Albany, Atlanta and Phoenix. The Women's Intercultural Network will host a screening at the African American Art and Culture Complex in San Francisco.
