Merenda's Chef Ready to Start Namesake 'Luce'

San Francisco Business Times:

Gavin Newsom isn't the only PlumpJacker getting plucky of late.
The mayoral candidate's former executive chef, Keith Luce, started the warm -- and warmly received -- French-Italian dining room Merenda at Union and Octavia streets less than two years ago with his wife Ramey. Now Luce and a business partner are combing through bargain real estate in the city's high-rent districts for a more formal place they will call "Luce."
