We will encourage you to take time to feed your soul physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually, every day. As a member of our community, you will be introduced to other like-minded people who share a love of adventure, sport, culture, travel, music, art, and entertainment.

Sources of inspiration will be introduced to our members via a series of travel guides, photo and music galleries, a marketplace of products, adventure getaways, and our online community, which you have found today, called "The Rugged Elegance Inspiration Network™."

We believe it is important to be smart about the way we live. As such, "REIN" guides you to meaningful news from around the world. Together, we will inspire one another towards healthy, wealthy, wise and soulful living.

Please look this fall for our premier edition of: "The Rugged Elegance Companion...A Guide to Places of Taste in San Francisco." In this book, we celebrate the places which remind us of the age when craftsmanship and refinement guaranteed satisfaction, and taste was cultivated in all aspects of life from dining to lodging to entertainment to the finest wares and services in the world. "The Companion" is our first in a series of leather-bound travel journals which guides our readers neighborhood-by-neighborhood to "rugged elegant" shops, restaurants, hotels, galleries and services that we selected earlier this year.

Conceived in 1985, but not established until 2002, Rugged Elegance, LLC is a lifestyle media business that was created to inspire like-minded individuals to lead healthy, adventuresome, soulful lives.
