"Thanks for asking. SARS is having a lot of impact on us. Beijing residents are kind of panicked, as they have never seen things like this before. Although the risk is not that high, most people are so frightened that they are not in a mood to work at the office. Most of our employees are now working from home. While I am sure things will get better after people get used to the media coverage of SARS, it's hard to predict when." |

Hong Kong Hospital Chief Falls Ill As More Die Of SARS
BioSpace.com: The chief of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority fell ill with pneumonia symptoms, as two more people died of a mystery disease. Severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, as the disease is being called, has now killed 10 people and sickened 260 in Hong Kong. The health secretary acknowledged Monday that Hong Kong is facing a medical predicament like nothing it has ever seen. |
