Slate Sets a Web Magazine First: Making Money

New York Times: "Slate, the online magazine founded by Michael Kinsley almost seven years ago, took in more money than it spent in the first quarter of this year." By David Carr.

Guardian Unlimited - Bloggers tool up. TypePad, revealed exclusively to the Guardian, is a major step forward for weblogging tools. Unlike MovableType, TypePad is a hosted service where the program, and the user's weblog, is hosted on the TypePad server for a small monthly fee. [Daypop Top News Stories]
