Christopher Ashton Kutcher
On February 7th, 1978, Christopher Ashton and Michael Kutcher were born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In addition to a fraternal twin brother, Ashton has an older sister, Tausha.
His parents Larry Kutcher (employed by General Mills) and Dianne Portwood (employed by Proctor and Gamble) were divorced in 1991. That same year, his brother had an emergency heart transplant. In 1996, his mother remarried Mark Portwood.
While studying biochemical engineering at the University of Iowa (with hopes of helping people with cardiomyopathy, the disorder his brother suffered from), Ashton won a modeling contest and moved to New York. Within months he was walking the runway in Milan and Paris, for Versace, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger.
A national Pizza Hut commercial gave him his first big break which led to acting.
I have only seen Kutcher in an in-flight movie co-starring the ever-funny Bernie Mac, but the thing I loved about Kutcher is his ability to make fun of his pretty boy status and laugh at himself.
I've never seen him in the hit tv show which made him a star. Or was it his Calvin Klein underwear ads? "That '70s Show" is where he got his big acting break.
Kutcher is also the co-creator of the MTV reality show "Punk'd."
He is also lending his voice to the upcoming 'toon Open Season and will star opposite Kevin Costner in the horror flick The Guardian. Both films are expected to be released in 2006.
People Magazine and Us Weekly reported Saturday's surprise wedding on their Web sites. They stated that the couple was married in the Los Angeles area in front of 100 close friends and family members.
This is Kutcher's first marriage.
The tv-turned-movie actress was previously married to rock musician Freddie Moore from 1980 to 1984. Demi was just eighteen when she took Moore's surname. At the time, Freddie Moore was the drummer for Bill Haley and His Comets.
Demetria Gene Guynes
Demi Moore was born Demetria Gene Guynes on November 11th 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico.
She made her break in Hollywood when she joined the cast of ABC's popular soap opera General Hospital at the age of nineteen. She played the role of Jackie Templeton from 1982 to 1983.
St. Elmo's Fire, beginning in 1985, was her next big break as a movie star.

She shared the limelight of the "fire" with Ally Sheedy, Mare Winningham, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson and Andie MacDowell. The film was directed by Joel Schumacher.
Moore was briefly engaged to fellow Brat Pack member and occasional co-star Emilio Estevez.
From 1987 to 2000, she was married to actor Bruce Willis. During that time, Moore starred in a number of big screen films which further showed off her talent beginning with Ghost (1990) co-starring Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg, who won an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. Ghost put Demi Moore on the map.
A few of the other films she co-starred in include A Few Good Men (1992) co-starring Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson, and G.I. Jane (1997) co-starring Viggo Mortensen and the late Anne Bancroft.
In the 1990s, Moore became the first actress to be paid $10 million a picture. Throughout much of that decade, Moore was the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
Willis and Moore had three daughters together -- Rumer Glenn, 17; Scout LaRue, 14; and Tallulah Belle, 11.
Demi's daughter Scout is most famous for having appeared inside her mama's belly on the August 1991 cover of Vanity Fair. During the nude photo shoot, Demi was seven months pregnant with Scout LaRue.
All three of Demi and Bruce's girls have happily embraced Kutcher as a third parent.
Nonetheless, Bruce is apparently as "hands - on" a dad as a "Moonlighting" tv-turned-mega-movie star can get.
Willis was also a guest at Demi and Ashton's wedding on Saturday, as were Willis and Moore's three daughters.
Rumer, Scout and Tallulah have nicknamed Kutcher "MOD", short for "My Other Dad."

Moore and Kutcher have been celebrated in the media for inspiring a new trend of couples: older American women dating younger men.
In this case, fifteen years younger.

Demi and Ashton began dating in 2003 after apparently meeting at a restaurant in New York City.
Ashton proposed to Demi earlier this year on a romantic trip to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Kutcher gave Moore a diamond-encrusted bangle as an engagement present.
Sources suggested they were planning to marry in November.
On Oprah, Kutcher expressed his happiness with Moore saying, "I love being with her. She makes me a better person."
Moore's primary residence is in Hailey, Idaho, near the famous Sun Valley resort. However, she has spent much of her time over the past two years in the L.A. area with Kutcher.
Five year ago, Moore returned to the big screen. Half Light - directed by Craig Rosenberg - is currently in "post-production". Bobby - written and directed by Emilio Estevez and co-starring Sir Anthony Hopkins and Elijah Wood - is in production. This film is Estevez' passionate project about the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. Moore is expected to play a lounge singer. Shooting is scheduled to begin on October 25th.
Also this fall, Moore is lending her face and physique to Versace and a number of magazine covers. She appears on the cover of the "Fall Fashion Issue" of Harper's Bazaar.
Subscribers get her in a black & white Chanel haute couture.
On the cover of the newsstand version, Demi wears a feather-trimmed frock by Lanvin. Both covers were shot by Alexi Lubomirski.
She also appears in a five-page ad for Donatella Versace.
In addition, Moore received much praise for not just her acting in Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle -- co-starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu -- but for her "kick butt" body. After this performance, people began claiming that she looking better at 40 than most women half her age.

Her co-star, Lucy Liu was one of the 100 guests in attendance at Demi's Southern California wedding, as was Wilmer Valderrama, known as Fez on THAT '70s SHOW, and Punky Brewster alumna Soleil Moon Frye together with her husband, Jason Goldberg, who is Kutcher's producing partner.
On Saturday evening around 10pm, the brief, formal, top-secret ceremony was done in the Kabbalah tradition, an ancient spiritual practice which both Moore and Kutcher follow.
A "Kabbalah wedding" typically includes reading from the Zohar which is a 13th century Kabbalistic text. Seven traditional Jewish blessings, the sheva brachot are also included along with readings from Psalms.
In November, the newlyweds may be heading to the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Perhaps a birthday celebration for Demi and a honeymoon? On the 11th of the month, Demi turns forty-three. Her husband will turn twenty-eight on February 7th 2006.
Congratulations Demi and Ashton!
Clearly, you have become stellar proof that age is a state of mind.
May your love and commitment to one another last.
Inspire & Be Inspired.
Here's to healthy, adventuresome, soulful, "robbin' the cradle and lovin' every minute of it" living!
