Rugged Elegant Photo of The Day ... Spanish Dolphins at the Madrid Zoo
On December 17, 2004, Reuters award-winning photographer, Paul Hanna captured this one-month-old dolphin named Zeus swimming beside its mother, Mancha.
The Spanish dolphins live at the Madrid Zoo.
Zeus weighed 12 kilos and measured 90 centimeters long when born on November 4th.
In his first two months of life Zeus is expected to nearly double its weight.

The Madrid Zoo is situated in the Casa de Campo on the outskirts of the city.
In the zoo there are about 2000 species of animals. Shows for children and adults include performing seals and sea lions, dolphins, and flying displays with birds of prey.
