President Bush asks for your prayers.
Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, you have the power to positively impact the very heated battle between President Bush and Senator John Kerry.
No matter who is leading the United States of America, divine intervention is needed and welcomed in the White House.
Over 2.8 million Americans have signed up as a member of The Presidential Prayer Team.
Today, on The Presidential Prayer Team site, the following list of requests were made:
Pray for the success of the presidential debates, beginning tonight. Pray for the candidates to express their views clearly and succinctly, and for Americans to be well informed and vote wisely.
As President Bush has requested an additional $7.1 billion to help AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, OH, PA, WV, and other areas, pray for those recovering from the devastation of this fourth hurricane. Pray for all efforts to help.
Pray for newly confirmed CIA Director, Porter Goss, that God's wisdom will lead him as he begins work and responds to the ideas of the 9-11 Commission.
As Taliban activity increases in Afghanistan, pray for the 17,000 American troops and 9,500 NATO peacekeepers in that country. Pray that their presence will offset efforts to disrupt October 9 elections. Continue to pray for all our troops as they stand guard around the world preserving our freedom. Give thanks to God for their faithful service.
Pray for the President, his advisors, members of the media and others as they continue to travel the country. Pray for protection, wisdom and discipline.
Give thanks for the ongoing recovery of former President Bill Clinton from his heart bypass surgery on 9/6.
With just a few days remaining until the PPT's Pray the Vote Virtual Prayer Rally, pray that every person who signed up will be faithful in their commitment to pray and that God will be honored by this effort.
