On Saturday, actor/director/producer Kevin Costner and his girlfriend, Christine Baumgartner were married at Costner's ranch in Aspen, Colorado. The ceremony took place against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. A Roman Catholic priest married the 49 year-old groom and the 30 year-old bride.

300 close friends and family attended the four day celebration, including Oliver Stone, Tim Allen, Bruce Willis, Oprah Winfrey, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, Jack Nicholson, Don Johnson and Mary McDonnell. The theme of the wedding: "Country."

Guests began arriving last week at Kevin and now Christine's 165-acre ranch, which has a riding ring, a baseball diamond and a private lake. Pre-wedding activities included rodeo riding, picnics, fishing contests and tractor pulls.

On Saturday afternoon, Kevin arrived with his groomsmen in a horse-drawn carriage. A vintage green Chevy pickup then arrived carrying the bride. After the ceremony, the groom took his new bride by canoe out into the middle of their lake for a romantic ride.

The sounds of the Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter and John Lennon's Imagine added to the celebration.

This is Costner's second marriage. His first wife, Cindy Silva, with whom he had three children, Annie, Lily and Joe, owned the fabulous Twin Palms restaurant in Pasadena until two years ago. Costner and Silva were former high school sweethearts who divorced in 1994. Costner also has a son, Liam, with American Socialite and tv reporter, Bridget Rooney.

Costner and Baumgartner met at a golf course at the Alisal. The couple dated for four years before he proposed last June.

Baumgartner agreed only after Costner conceded to having more children.

Yesterday, her original vintage engagement ring was replaced with a new diamond ring that tooks months to create. Neil Lane designed the one-of-a-kind 5+ carat, square-cut stone in platinum. The Victorian setting also included three carats of smaller stones around the band.

Yesterday, the bride wore a white gown designed by Monique Lhuillier and a beaded lace veil. Costner wore Ralph Lauren.

Costner's claim to fame was his role as veteran baseball player Crash Davis in the 1988 film Bill Durham.

In 1990, Costner won seven Oscars, including Best Director and Best Picture, for Dances With Wolves.

Costner's most recent film was the (2003) Western Open Range starring Costner, Robert Duvall and Annette Bening.

His next film, The Upside of Anger, stars Costner together with Joan Allen, Alicia Witt, Keri Russell and Evan Rachel Wood and is expected to be released in December.

Costner is currently in-production with a film starring Jennifer Aniston.

This sequel to The Graduate has yet to be titled. Working titles include: The Rob Reiner Project, The Graduate Project and The Jennifer Aniston Graduate Comedy.

In 1991, Costner was chosen by People Magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world. In 1995, Empire magazine selected him as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history.

Baumgartner is a former model and SKYY Vodka representative. She has recently launched a handbag business. Her line of bags is called Cat Bag Couture - "Where Fashion & Technology Meet." She and business partner, Tamaro Muro (the "T" in Cat) create bold handbags and designer laptop cases with faux leopard fur trim and vintage floral linings ($100 - $850).

Their latest design is the first functional vintage Vogue French faux fur and Italian leather softwear computer bag called "Jackie Oh!" ($900)

Newlyweds, Costner and Baumgartner plan to honeymoon in Scotland after Christine's new business is launched and after Kevin finishes shooting his next film.

Hopefully when the couple does get away, the "C" in Cat will leave her Jackie Oh!, Sofia and Marti laptop bags in Colorado and take only her Bella, Judy or Lacey handbags with her to Scotland.

Last year, Costner said, "I had love once, and I didn't know if I was ever going to get it again. I just got lucky."

Once I turned the corner and walked into Kevin it was a dream," Christine said.
