Let Freedom Ring: A Classic Fourth of July CD

Let.Freedom.Ring.CD.Cover.jpg

Almost a year after 9/11 to the very day, Bill and Gloria Gaither, together with Spring House, released a Gospel CD they created at Carnegie Hall called Let Freedom Ring.

While the Fourth of July is still on your mind, think ahead to next year and get this classic which includes songs like: This Land Is Your Land, Battle Hymn of the Republic and Star-Spangled Banner.

An Amazon customer from Pawtucket, Rhode Island wrote:

Just an amazing show that will move anyone to tears and rejoicing. Makes you wonder why something like this wasnt shown on any major television networks such as NBC or ABC. It would have done wonders for the country at a time when we all needed to mourn as well as be inspired. Get this video along with "America", which was filmed the same weekend at Carnegie. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Wow.

To add to your portfolio of Fourth of July CDs, another to consider by the late great Ray Charles, Ray Charles Sings for America.

Songs include: America the Beautiful, Imagine (featuring The Harlem Gospel Singers), Let It Be, Over the Rainbow and Take Me Home, Country Road. This CD was released on September 3, 2002 - just seven days before Let Freedom Ring.
