American Idol Jasmine Trias fans are mourning her departure from the talent show by wearing a flower in their hair, today. A group of six year-old girls in San Francisco decided yesterday that if Jasmine were ousted off their favorite tv program, this would be the way they would show their support of their idol from Hawaii.
Two nights ago, Jasmine Trias received the fewest number of votes from Americans who called in to support one of the final three contestants on Fox's third season of American Idol.
While Trias lost her trademark flower half way through the contest, her fans remember and honor her today for the Aloha spirit she brought to the mainland.
"While it seems right that she had to go," said Niki, one of the six year-olds showing their support for Trias today, "there are a group of us from Kindergarten who watch the show and are sad because she is gone."

The parents of these Kindergarteners are getting together this afternoon to buy an entire fresh flower lei for their daughters. Beautiful Orchids in San Francisco (415.567.2443) offers the individual flowers, and can ship anywhere in the country.
Fantasia Barrino and Diana DeGarmo will compete next Tuesday in a two-hour special. On Wednesday, Fox's third American Idol will be announced.
Trias will join other AI III finalists Amy Adams, Camile Velasco, Diana Degarmo, Fantasia Barrino, George Huff, Jennifer Hudson, John Stevens, Jon Peter Lewis and La Toya London in concert this summer, beginning July 14th in Salt Lake City and ending September 28th in Honolulu.
