Jodie Kidd: Supermodel and Golf Nut

jodiekidd1.jpg
GolfDigest.com:

[Jodie Kidd] has graced the covers of countless magazines and walked the runway for Chanel, Gucci, Prada and Calvin Klein. That's all very nice -- but really, she'd rather be playing golf.

Golf Digest: You played in three pro-ams last year, including one at the Dunhill Links Championship, in Scotland. How did you get invited to play?

Jodie Kidd: Last January, my dad told the organizer of the big charity pro-am in Barbados that I knew how to play golf. So I was invited to participate in the event. I went out early to practice, and my dad and I played 18 holes for four days. By the time the tournament started, I was playing quite decent golf. I was the only woman, and I ended up coming in fourth. After that, the newspapers started writing that Jodie Kidd can play.

We've always been inspired by women her are into sports. Jodie Kidd definitely fits the billl.
